Minutes of Executive Committee Meeting -- Tuesday, December 13, 2011
Washburn County Information Center
Meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Vice President Ann Miller.
Members present: Ann Miller, Charlie Swanson, Joe Fitzgerald
Absent: Lee Magnuson
Others present: Michelle Voight
Sport Show Display:
Discussion was had on replacing the graphics panels for the upcoming shows. Miller made a motion to replace the panels, seconded by Swanson. Motion carried.
Sport Show Update:
Looking for a board member to attend the St. Paul Sportsmen’s show January 12-15. If anyone can attend, please let Michelle know.
Office Updates:
Shared press release to the papers regarding Washburn County Information Center’s neutral stance on political activities.
Mileage/Expense Report:
Miller made a motion to approve the director’s mileage report, seconded by Swanson. Motion carried.
TIC Grant:
Michelle will be writing a grant application for possible reimbursement of 50% of the cost for the new signs for the visitor center.
Employee Holiday Bonuses:
Miller made a motion to give WCTA employee bonuses the same as last year, seconded by Fitzgerald. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn was made by Miller and seconded by Swanson. The meeting was adjourned at 8:47 a.m.
