Minutes of Annual Meeting -- Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Washburn County Information Center

Meeting was called to order at 8:35 a.m. by President Lee Magnuson.

Members present: Richard Fankhauser, Joe Fitzgerald, Lee Magnuson, Ann Miller, Greg Krantz, Jennifer Tavolacci

Absent: Dan Frase, Charlie Swanson

Others present: Michelle Voight, Tim Brabec, Steven Sather, Aaron Arf

Citizen Comment:

Aaron Arf stated that “Michelle (Voight) is doing a fine job” (as Exec. Director)

Review WCTA Bylaws:

Greg Krantz moved to revise Article IV, Section 1 from “…There shall be up to five (5) at large members. This includes business and/or residence of Washburn County. A Member of the Washburn County Board. All Tourism Board members have to reside or own a business in Washburn County.” to “There shall be up to five (5) at large members plus one (1) member of the Washburn County Board. All Tourism Board members have to reside or own a business in Washburn County.”Dick Fankhauser seconded. Motion carried.

Greg Krantz moved to revise Article VIII, Section 1 from “Agriculture/LCC Committee” to “Finance Committee”. Lee Magnuson seconded. Motion carried.

Ann Miller moved to revise Article VIII, Section 2 from “monthly” to “quarterly”. Jennifer Tavolacci seconded. Motion carried.

Election of Board Members:

Ann Miller moved to re-elect Charlie Swanson, Dick Fankhauser seconded. Motion carried.

The Executive Committee will be elected at the June 8^th, 2010 meeting.

Motion to adjourn was made by Joe Fitzgerald and seconded by Ann Miller. The meeting was adjourned at 8:42 a.m.
