Hunting

 Washburn County offers a wide variety of hunting opportunities in the Washburn County Forest.  There are 148,000 acres of forest land in Washburn County.  The road and access plan provides areas for those needing motorized travel to access hunting areas.  Be sure to check with the DNR and the Washburn County Forestry Department prior to hunting.  Plat books are also available at the Washburn County Tourism Information Center located in Spooner.  Books are $25.00 each (cash or check only).
