04/17/2010 Birdwatching Along the Riverway
Join a free workshop on birdwatching along the Riverway conducted by Robin Maercklein, a National Park Service biologist. Robin will teach basic identification skills, share tools and methods used in studying birds, and suggest ways to contribute to research through "citizen science" projects. The workshop will also feature a short walk to demonstrate some of the skills while encouraging participation from the group. The Namekagon River Visitor Center is located on Highway 63, a half mile east of Highway 53, in Trego, Wisconsin. Call (320) 629-2148 to register or for more information.
