Sarona is a town in Washburn County, created March 22, 1904, with the former and merged community name of Bashaw. The community name combines Sharon, for the biblical place, and Sauer, for an early settler. The latitude of Sarona is 45.711N. The longitude is -91.806W. Elevation is 1,319 feet. The population, at the time of the 2000 census, was 382.
