Experience the quiet and solitude of the Northwoods near Hayward, Wisconsin at Camp Namekagon. We offer quiet, clean, spacious sites, wooded walking trails, and picnic areas. Our camp borders Wild River property and is within walking distance of the Namekagon River. Just 10 miles south of Hayward, Wisconsin, close to many fine dining establishments, golf courses, great fishing and all the Vacationland has to offer! Wilderness river tubing, canoeing and kayaking�the Namekagon River is designated a wild and scenic river by the U.S. Congress so it will be preserved in its natural state. The continuous, undeveloped shoreline allows a variety of wildlife to be seen while enjoying this great waterway. Camp Namekagon River Co.: Come join us for a day of fun and sun tubing the scenic Namekagon River on our deluxe vinyl tubes. We offer tubing trips between Hayward and Trego from 2 to 4 hours long. Shuttle service included. We also offer kayak and canoe rental, and shuttle services.

website More Information...We are your oldest established canoe rental service in the area. CANOE/KAYAK: Our canoe and kayak trips range in length from two hours, three hours, four hours, five hours, six hours, seven hours, overnight, to several days. We service the entire Namekagon River. Trips can be planned for the beginner or experienced visitor. TUBING: Our tubing trips are approximately 3 to 3/1/2 hours. Register and park your car at "Jack's". We'll provide free shuttle service for each tuber purchasing a tube rental. There is an additional charge for additional riders. Bring along a cooler and we'll provide a free tube for the cooler (One free cooler tube per group of eight). Before you know it you are enjoying a relaxing, refreshing, river float. No hassles, no worries. CAMPING: Jack's also offers primative camping. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Firewood is available. Call us and we'll help you plan the perfect trip for your family, youth group, church group, or just a romantic escape for the two of you. We will also suggest picnicking and camping options for your trip.

website More Information...LOG CABINS: Seven log cabins to choose from! -All cabins have picnic table, fire pit and charcoal grill. 2-sleeping cabins with lofts -each sleeps 6 people 5-housekeeping log cabins: Loon, Pine, River, Bear and Moose Cabins -All have TV's, kitchens with stove, refrigerator, dishes, cooking utensiles, toaster, coffee maker, microwave and beds that are ready to sleep in. Bathrooms with showers. Don't forget your towels. Loon Cabin: One Queen size bed, sleeps 2 Pine Cabin: One double bed and one sofa-sleeper, sleeps 4 River Cabin: Two bedrooms each with one double bed. One Sofa-Sleeper, sleeps 6 Bear Cabin: Two bedrooms each with one double bed. One Sofa-Sleeper, sleeps 6 Moose Cabin: Two bedrooms each with two double beds, One Sofa-Sleeper. sleeps 10 CAMPING: Log Cabin Campground has over thirty campsites all with water and 30 amp electric service for all types of campers. Hot showers and flush toilets are centrally located and near to all sites. Each site has it's own fire pit and picnic table. Visit the rec. hall and try out the video games, pool table and juke box, and check out the camp store for ice cream, ice, treats and things you may have forgotten, and more! ACTIVITIES: Tubing on the Namekagon River: For those of you who enjoy soaking up rays and scenary, plan a leisurely trip down the river. The float takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on fun and water level. Free cooler tube for large groups. Canoe / Kayak Trips on the Namekagon & St. Croix Rivers: Take a canoe or kayak down the river, we can help you plan the best routes for your ability level, challenge and length of trip from 2 hours to days with camping at Log Cabin Resort or camp along the shores of the beautiful river. There are several trips to choose from with varying degrees of difficulty and scenery. Trips range from rapids consisting of a few rippled rocks to class II rapids. Great fishing along the way. We offer Alumacraft and Old Town canoes and kayaks. Life jackets and paddles are included with all rentals. We encourage you to bring your favorite life vest and children P.F.D.
