Due to its clean, clear waters, it is a haven for walleye, bass, northern pike, muskies and panfish. Along with it's first class fishing, Trego Lake offers great water for boating and water skiing. Our modern cottages are located on 350 feet of level lakefront and are completely equipped for your housekeeping, with bedding furnished. The full kitchen has all dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. You will have carpeting, shower, satellite TV, air conditioning and automatic gas heat. Our large two bedroom vacation home has a spacious living room with windows on three sides overlooking the lake. Both bedroom have queen size beds. Additional amenities include dishwasher, fireplace, central air conditioning, satellite TV, deck and screened porch. We are continually upgrading our facilities to provide our guests with a quality vacation experience. Spacious seasonal or overnight campsites are also available starting usually in mid April and continuing well into October. Our beautiful large heated swimming pool is open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. Linens are furnished, with the exception of towels. All cottages have kitchens with stove, refrigerator and microwave. All also have color cable TV, Weber grills, picnic table and campfire ring. Some have air conditioning and dishwashers. For the comfort and safety of all our guests, personal watercraft (jet skis), pets and fireworks are not allowed on the resort. Four traditional lakeshore cabins -- one with two bedrooms and the others with three bedrooms -- are located in a natural wooded setting overlooking the shores of Lower Kimball Lake. The newer St. Croix Trail cabin is located alone in the woods for even more privacy to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Northwoods. Lower Kimball Lake (129 acres) is the largest of the chain of three small, spring-fed, clear-water lakes that offer our guests good fishing opportunities for bass and panfish amid peaceful surroundings with no water skiing or jet skiing. If you're not here for the fishing, the peaceful surroundings will give you plenty of chance to relax and escape the noise of the city. A small, sandy beach area allows guests to cool off on hot days, and there's plenty of room to roam with hiking trails throughout the resort's 139 acres of wooded land surrounding the cabins. Lincolnwood Resort is one of the few resorts left on Long Lake that still offer that family fun vacation. A central location at Lincolnwood is the main lodge. In the evening or anytime, our fireside lounge with oversized couch is available for your enjoyment. 4 Color TV's and magazines are at your disposal. Complete with a full liquor bar, pizza and sandwiches, you can relax, shoot a game of pool, play your favorite video game, or just sit back and enjoy viewing the spectacular sunsets.
