Due to its clean, clear waters, it is a haven for walleye, bass, northern pike, muskies and panfish. Along with it's first class fishing, Trego Lake offers great water for boating and water skiing. Our modern cottages are located on 350 feet of level lakefront and are completely equipped for your housekeeping, with bedding furnished. The full kitchen has all dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. You will have carpeting, shower, satellite TV, air conditioning and automatic gas heat. Our large two bedroom vacation home has a spacious living room with windows on three sides overlooking the lake. Both bedroom have queen size beds. We are continually upgrading our facilities to provide our guests with a quality vacation experience. Spacious seasonal or overnight campsites are also available starting usually in mid April and continuing well into October. Our beautiful large heated swimming pool is open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. CANOE/KAYAK: Our canoe and kayak trips range in length from two hours, three hours, four hours, five hours, six hours, seven hours, overnight, to several days. We service the entire Namekagon River. Trips can be planned for the beginner or experienced visitor. TUBING: Our tubing trips are approximately 3 to 3/1/2 hours. Register and park your car at "Jack's". We'll provide free shuttle service for each tuber purchasing a tube rental. There is an additional charge for additional riders. Bring along a cooler and we'll provide a free tube for the cooler (One free cooler tube per group of eight). Before you know it you are enjoying a relaxing, refreshing, river float. No hassles, no worries. CAMPING: Jack's also offers primative camping. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Firewood is available. website More Information...Kimball Lake Resort is a small housekeeping resort located in a beautiful wooded area near Minong in the northwest corner of Washburn County. Four traditional lakeshore cabins -- one with two bedrooms and the others with three bedrooms -- are located in a natural wooded setting overlooking the shores of Lower Kimball Lake. The newer St. Croix Trail cabin is located alone in the woods for even more privacy to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Northwoods. Lower Kimball Lake (129 acres) is the largest of the chain of three small, spring-fed, clear-water lakes that offer our guests good fishing opportunities for bass and panfish amid peaceful surroundings with no water skiing or jet skiing. If you're not here for the fishing, the peaceful surroundings will give you plenty of chance to relax and escape the noise of the city. A small, sandy beach area allows guests to cool off on hot days, and there's plenty of room to roam with hiking trails throughout the resort's 139 acres of wooded land surrounding the cabins. If you prefer fall or winter get-aways, we keep two cabins open year-round and have convenient access to roads connecting to snowmobile and ATV trails.

We are located approximately 3 miles from the city of Spooner, less than ½ mile from the Spooner Golf course, and close to Highways 53, 63 and 70 which will lead you to the many areas of Northwest Wisconsin to explore.
