Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary was donated to the National Audubon Society in 1954 by Frances Hunt Andrews. Her dream was to see the property used as an environmental education center where people could have the opportunity to learn about nature and enjoy the property in the same way that she did. Her cabin still stands on “The Hill.
”Though owned by the National Audubon Society, Hunt Hill is operated by the local Friends of Hunt Hill group. For information call (715) 635-6543 or toll-free (877) 777-8383, or see Hunt Hill on the internet at www.hunthill.org or www.audubon.org/local/sanctuary/hunthill.
