Clay Day: Potter's in the Park

Saturday, August 17th | 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Centennial Park | Corner of River St. & Walnut St. | Spooner, WI 54801

Arts in Hand Gallery - 715-635-9303

“Clay Day: Potter’s in the Park” will be held in Centennial Park in Spooner, next door to Arts in Hand Gallery. There will be several potters in the park doing demonstrations of how they make their works of art and the functional pieces used in everyday life. Some of the potters will have material for attendees to make something and because the clay they will be using is mixed with material that won't have to be fired, you will be able to bring it home with you that same day!

Also happening that day, local potter, Rich Meaux, will be "throwing" for a title in the Guiness Book of World Records! The record he is trying to break is "the most pots thrown in one hour by an individual" which is currently at 193. Come cheer on Rich and enjoy a clay day in the park!
