Washburn County, WI Itinerary: Fun on the Farm

Wisconsin has long been known as “the dairy state,” but the agriculture industry offers much more than just dairy. Here are some of our favorite spots to learn more about the agriculture industry and how our hard-working local farmers have taken their farms to the next level.

Friday:

Bashaw Valley Farm, Washburn County

First stop, Bashaw Valley Farm & Greenhouse, where you can buy everything from grass fed beef to hand-picked berries. It’s as farm fresh as you can get!

Pine Brook Farm, Washburn County

After your trip to Bashaw Valley, take a peaceful country drive to Pine Brook Farm, a restaurant serving up home-cooked food, locally raised grass fed beef and bison; and pasture raised pork from Chickadee Hills Homestead. This restaurant is located in a 65 year old farmhouse on 85 acres of picturesque farmland.
