ATV/UTV Trails:
All Washburn County ATV/UTV Trails will officially open for the season on Saturday, May 18th at 8:00AM. There is continued trail maintenance throughout the season to keep all trails in good riding conditions so ride with caution, tread lightly, and stay on designated trail surfaces. Please note, this has been a very dry spring and the fire danger in Washburn County continues to fluctuate daily - if the fire danger reaches levels of Very High or higher all trails will automatically close. Should you encounter any trail washouts, downed trees, or other trail issues please be report those to Washburn County Forestry at 715-635-4490.
Biking Trails:
Wildcat Mountain Bike Trails: 21 Miles of trails just east of Spooner with a combination of single & double tracks utilizing Washburn County forest land. Trails are mowed, brushed & maintained by volunteers throughout the season. Trail conditions will vary and there may be wet spots along the trail system from recent rain fall.
Spooner City Park/College Street Park: 6 Miles of trails in the heart of Spooner. There are a variety of loops for different levels of riders from beginner (paved trails) to difficult single tracks. Sections of the trail are mowed & maintained throughout the summer months to keep them in good riding conditions.
Totogatic Trails: 5 Miles of trails north of Minong offering just over six miles of trails equipped for biking through the Washburn County Forest Land. Please note these trails are also open for vehicle use through the later fall season.
Hiking Trails:
Washburn County hosts a variety of hiking trails of varying in lengths & difficulty throughout the county. For detailed hiking information please visit the Hiking & Wildlife Viewing Page.
