The museums have preserved the history that has built the area to what it is today, everyone will enjoy stepping back in time. 

Paying tribute to the men and women who have served our country, are beautiful memorials in Washburn County. A replica of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier calls Spooner home, at Veterans Memorial Waterfront Park. And, a beautiful resting place just north of Spooner, Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery. Many come to pay their respects and admire these beautiful tributes.
