Bucking broncs, cheering fans, and fearless cowboys. There’s nothing quite like cheering on a cowboy as he holds on tight for the ride of his life. From the cute little cowboys and cowgirls just learning the ropes on the sheep to the experienced team ropers, you’re sure to enjoy the action-packed performances of the Heart of the North Spooner Rodeo. Spooner has been blessed to be the home of a professional rodeo for 69 years running. Did you know that Spooner Rodeo has won the award of Large Rodeo of the Year numerous times over the past several years in the Great Lakes Circuit?! If you’re looking to watch some true rodeo action, there’s nowhere better in the midwest than right here in Spooner, Wisconsin.

Rodeo performances are held at 7:30 p.m. each night, July 6-8, 2023. Your best bet is to buy your tickets in advance as the rodeo has been known to sell out at the gate. Special on Thursday night is the Coca-Cola Family Discount where up to five kids (12 and under) receive free general admission tickets with the purchase of two adult GA tickets. If you’re looking to get right up by the action, be sure to check out the reserved seats. The prime sections sell out first, so be sure to call or go online to spoonerrodeo.com and order your tickets right away. If you aren’t sure where to sit, be sure to call the awesome gals at the ticket office and they’ll help you pick the best seats for you. You can reach them at 1-800-367-3306.

As the lights go down at the rodeo grounds for the night, be sure to head over to the picnic pavilion for a good old fashioned dance with live music by Savannah Rae. Other fun that you won't want to miss includes the huge parade on Saturday, Spooner Stampede 5k, Cowboy Church Service, and more. There are events happening constantly during rodeo weekend, so be sure to check out the calendar of events for more information on all the fun!

Have fun at the rodeo! Yee-haw!!!!
