If you are in the Sarona area, Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary rents snowshoes at no charge to use on property. With 7 miles of trails that travel around Upper and Lower Twin Lakes, beside Big Devil Lake, through prairies, around wetlands, and through wooded areas.
Hunt Hill is located on 600 acres that is home to many native Wisconsin species such as whitetail deer, rabbits, squirrels, beaver, and a variety of wild birds, you will see something different each time you visit.
