Historical Attractions

Honoring Our Veterans

Paying tribute to the men and women who have served our country, are beautiful memorials in Washburn County. A replica of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier calls Spooner home, at Veterans Memorial Waterfront Park. And, a beautiful resting place just north of Spooner, Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery. Many come to pay their respects and admire these beautiful tributes. 

Fun on the Farm

From picking your own blueberries in the summer to enjoying a corn maze in the fall, fun on the farm comes in all fashions. You can visit a biodiverse farm and shop the product made right on site, pick up local veggies & produce at the local farmers' markets, or just enjoy some fun on the farm like grain train rides and much more.
